Waitlist is a matching app for people 18 and older. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18. We may remove accounts that appear to belong to minors.
Account
You may sign in with Apple, email, or phone as offered in the app. Do not impersonate anyone or create an account for someone else. You are responsible for activity on your account.
The service
Waitlist uses photos you grant access to, and answers you give, to build a persona and suggest matches. We do not guarantee that you will be matched with anyone, or that a match will reply. Other people on Waitlist are not our employees; we are not responsible for what they say or do.
Photos and profile
Full Access lets us read your library. Limited Access lets you pick which photos. We upload those photos over HTTPS to build your persona. Photos you approve as profile pictures can be shown to a match. Other library photos are not shown to other people. Analysis is automated. Staff do not browse your camera roll.
Community guidelines
- Be who you say you are. No impersonation, no accounts for someone else.
- Treat matches with respect. No harassment, hate, threats, or sexual content sent without a clear invitation.
- No spam, scams, or soliciting money.
- Report behaviour that breaks these rules. We review reports and may remove content or accounts.
- Do not share other people’s private photos or information.
To report or block someone, use the menu on their introduction or in the conversation.
Your data
How we collect and keep data is described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in Settings. That removes the rest of what we keep about you, except as we may need to retain for safety or law.
Termination
You may stop using Waitlist at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe put people at risk.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
